A

decrease in systolic blood pressure greater than 10mmHg with inspiration, here korotkoff sounds first
(due to cardiac tamponade, percarditis, obstructive lung disease, restrictive cardiomyopathy)
-heard first during expiration then audible during all
-can’t hear during inspiration because increased blood return pushes ventircular septum left and reduces diastolic volume and stroke volume

A

type I: not as bad, manifests in adults as headaches and cerebellar symtpoms like ataxia

type II: more severe, can present in enonate. Abnormaly formed cerebellum and meddula. Cna get lumbar myeloningocele (leg paralyssis) or hydrocephalus (aqueductal stenosis)
