Q

Describe The Structure Of RNA
(5 Points)

A

~ Single polynucleotide strand.

~ Made of alternating ribose sugars and phosphate groups.

~ Phosphodiester bonds link sugars and phosphates.

~ Bonds form the sugar-phosphate backbone.

~ Each phosphodiester bond connects the 5’ carbon of one ribose to the phosphate, then to the 3’ carbon of the next ribose.
