cimetidine: potent inhibitor of cytochrome p450, antiandrogenic effect (prolactin release, gynecomastia, impotence, low libido in male), can cross BBB (confusion, dizziness, HA) and placenta
Both cimetidine and ranitidine reduce renal excretion of creatinine
Other H2 blockers are relatively free of these effects
