What is the magisterium
A
•The pope and bishops together use the authority given by a Christ through Apostolic succession to interpret the bible for Catholics today •They also discuss and address modern day issues that did not exist at the time of Christ e.g. IVF through Church councils and conferences •They also address every day teachings of the Church and help guide the followers of Christ in achieving salvation through papal documents and homilies
