Normality
Patterns of behaviour that are typical, expected and conform to acceptable standards.
Abnormality
Any deviation from what is considered normal, typical, usual or healthy.
Neurotypicality
Describes people whose neurological development and cognitive functioning are typical or expected

Normality is determined by social and cultural codes specific to a person’s context.
Functional approach
Normality is the ability to cope with everyday demands through thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Normality shifts over time as societal perceptions change across historical periods.

Abnormality has biological causes and can be diagnosed via clear symptoms.

Normality is what the majority of people think, feel, or do.
