the cells of multicellular organisms become specialized for particular tasks and communicate with one another to maintain homeostasis.

What are the levels of organization for multicellular organisms?

A

specialized cells group into Tissues that perform a particular function. Specific tissues group into Organs which have different kinds of tissues that work together. Organs that work together form Organ Systems.
