At an alarm call, without breach of security and no emergency, the investigating officer will:
- Complete circle check to make sure all doors and windows are secure
- Visual check of all sides and the roof to note any signs of smoke, fire, water flow, vapours or signs of problems
- Visual check of outside sprinkler drains and water gongs to determine if sprinkler system has been activated
- Note any information that can be seen on the annunciator panel
- Complete Notice to Building Owner form and place it at the front entrance in a location where is will be seen by key holder (mail slot, under front door, in door handle)

- when the sprinkler system is inoperative all areas protected by the system shall be monitored.

If no key holder can be reached and the building fire alarm or sprinkler system requires servicing, you may contact the Fire Protection Service Company once ______ confirms they are the service contractor.
