how is the response to hypoxia unique in pulmonary?
A
inlike systemic circulation which INCREASES in the setting of hypoxia, it shunts blood away from areas of hypoxia which favours perfusion (Q) to areas better ventialted.

Hydrostatic Pulmonary venous hypertension Due to raised left atrial pressure

progressive dispnoea, chest pain, syncope
