Schema is
mental frameworks, that help organize ideas/ information (organizes experience)
Stereotyping
exaggerated beliefs associated with easily recognized but unimportant characteristics, and is ascribing a set of characteristics to most of all members of a group

Physical, role, interaction, psychological
interpretation depends on what?
degree of involvement, relational satisfaction, past experiences, assumptions about human behaviour, expectations, knowledge of others
Negotiation is based on
perception is not a solitary activity, exchange of stories in narratives, clash of narratives, shared narratives
Attribution is
the process of attaching meaning to behaviour
fundamental attribution is
the tendency to believe when you make an error its the environment, circumstances fault but when another person makes an error its based on a disposition in their personality/character

the determination of causes and effects in a series of interactions
interpretation
the process of attaching meaning to sense data
empathy
recreating another persons perspective and experiencing the world from their point of view
androgynous behaviour
possessing both masculine and feminine traits
sympathy
feeling compassion for someone, but not experiencing that persons pov or emotions
