  • working behind machines caused faint of hunger, exhaustion, illness, drunkness, exhaustion
  • bc of the effects it had there were a lot of accidents (ppl lost hands, got burned, dies)
  • Factories was an unsaf enviorment –> filled w/ soot that damaged lungs
