What does ABCPRS stand for?
Ability, balance, co-ordination, power, reaction time, speed.
What is the definition of agility?
The ability to change position and control the body at speed.
What is the definition of balance?
Being able to keep the body stable while at rest or on the move.
What is the definition of co-ordination?
The ability to use two or more body parts together.
What is the definition of power?
The ability to undertake strength performances quickly. Strength x speed = power.
What is the definition of reaction time?
The time between a stimulus and a movement in response to it.
What is the definition of speed?
The rate at which an individual can perform a movement or cover a distance.
What is the difference between static and dynamic balance?
Static balance is keeping the body stable while stationary, but dynamic balance is maintaining a controlled, stable position while moving.
