Q

Contextualize the globalization of culture during 1900-present.

A

In the 20th century, nations were continually competing through the world wars, the Cold War, and imperialism. This period of rough international relationships gave way to international cooperation post-Cold War, leading to changes made through new relationships.
Examples of these new relationships include the United Nations, the European Union, and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

These social and cultural changes were able to become globalized through the inventions of the telephone, internet, social media, movies, the television, and advanced transportation technology like international airlines and high-speed trains that spread people and their culture easily to distant places.
