cellular respiration: is when organisms get energy
photosynthesis: sun into energy for plants
producers, consumers and decomposers
producers: are like plants and can “self-feed”
consumers: aka “other feeders” use energy from other things
decomposers: eats dead things
whats albedo
the amount of reflected energy the average on earth is around 30%
whats chemosynthesis
its a water photosynthesis without the sun by splitting the hydrogen sulphide making a sort of vent then the energy made from this is put into bacteria
primary consumers
they eat plants
is earth a closed or open system
its a closed system
what is a trophic level?
its a food level or chain where its basically saying what eats what
what is a food web
a model of food or energy transfer between trophic levels
what is the pyramid of numbers?
usually, this one is telling how many of an organism is in one trophic level this can be inverted
what are biomass and its pyramid
biomass is an area of living and previously living things the pyramid shows how much energy is transferred to each level. it can be reversed
what is the pyramid of energy
this one shows how much energy is transferred from one trophic level to another it cant be reversed
