  • two of these are the dipthong (ou) in coat, moan etc.
  • focused on 48 children (groups of 16)
  • quizzes, mapreading, spot the difference
  • spontaneous speech, interviewing children, recording them speaking to friends and family
    -Children on average front their vowels more than adults.
