4 steps when breaking down in a tunnel
1. Try and get the car out of the tunnel. If that’s not possible, leave the car as far to the right as possible 2. Turn on emergency lights and leave the key in ignition 3. Stay 50m ahead of the car so that if other traffic collides with it you stay safe 4. Walk along the direction of traffic flow until you reach a phone box and contact emergency services
