Mech: Inhibits ferrochelatase and ALA dehydratase-> dcr. heme synthesis and ^ RBC protoporphyrin
Sx: LEAD-Lead line (Burton), Encephalopathy, Abdominal pain/anemia, Drops (foot and wrist)
Antidote: EDTA, dimercaperol, succimer (chelator)
