What are animal rights?
The rights to humane treatment that should be given to all animals.
List some traditional uses of animals by humans.
Transportation, hunting assistants, protection, companionship, food, clothing, cosmetic testing, medical research (vivisection), and blood sports.

Abstaining from meat consumption, and sometimes from animal slaughter by-products.
What is a vegan?
A person who consumes no animal products and avoids using any animal-derived items.
What do most Christians believe about animal use?
They support animal experimentation and eating animals for food.
What do Jews and Muslims believe about eating animals?
They believe God allows eating certain animals, but they must be killed according to religious rules. Pigs are forbidden.
What does Hinduism teach about animals?
All life is sacred, animals have souls, and unnecessary killing is wrong. Cows are especially sacred.

Milk, curds, ghee butter, urine, and dung.
What is one right animals should have regarding their natural habitat?
The right to live in a way that fits their nature (e.g., wild animals living in the wild).
