Atropine

A
  • IV: symptomatic bradycardia
  • IM: reversal agent for cholinergic OD
  • PO: to reduce saliva (pre-op, palliative)
  • Ophthalmic drop: produce mydriasis & cycloplegia (pre-op)
  • Side effects: tachycardia, palpitations, nasal congestion, photophobia, blurred vision, dry mouth & skin, constipation, urinary retention, impotence, memory impairment, coma
  • Contraindications: glaucoma, BPH, MG
