Predisposition to act in a particular way towards something or someone in a person’s environment.
What is attitude?
Behaviour / feeling / belief towards an attitude object

What is the Cognitive Dissonance Theory?
When peoples’ behaviour and beliefs do not complement each other’s behaviour and beliefs.
What does the Cognitive Dissonance Theory lead to?
Positive: more enjoyment, more participation, more teamwork.
Negative: arguments, disagreements, upset, lack of teamwork.
Who should persuasive communication come from?
A role model or somebody with high status.
Key part of persuasive communication.
RELEVANT and CLEAR message.
