BACTERIA - dupicate quickly from binary fission and can produce lots of toxins to make us feel ill

  • sterilise the petri dish with hot agar
  • sterilise inoculating loop
  • close lid quickly to prevent unwanted micro organism
  • allow oxygen and 25 degrees to prevent dangerous pathogens
