What is carbohydrate loading?
A
It’s a dietary plan for endurance athletes, using starch-rich foods such as pasta. The starch increase the amount of glycogen in the muscles and allowing the slow release of energy when competing

Give an example of a vitamin?
A
Vitamin A – found in milk, fish, egg and cheese. Used for healthy eyesight.
Vitamin C – found in fruit. Used for healthy gums and teeth

Iron – Prevents tiredness and anaemia, found in cereal Calcium – Helps build strong bones and teeth, found in dairy
