What is the UAB behavior scale?
A
The University of Alabama pain behavior scale view is pain from a behaviorist perspective rather than using a set report it measures behaviors that are only observable. It measures different aspects of behavior, such as verbal and nonverbal medication.

How are they measured?
A
All measured on a three-point scale and the observer has to judge how frequently each behavior occurs across three weeks

How many behaviors?
A
Consists of 10 target behaviors

For each behavior, there is assigned a score. What is it?
A
Either 0/2 or one mark and a total score is calculated out of 10 a high score with reflect marked pain
