What are subjective measures of measuring pain?
Subjective measures is when a doctor would gather medical history and carry out examinations addition knee they can carry out a clinical interview
Clinical interview
Asking a patient arrange if opened questions and will focus on getting an understanding of the patient’s experience of their pain during the interview. Patient’s history is collected. Additionally, medical evaluations are done. Also observations of body language of the patient and their family is also done.

The only way to know how someone feels is to ask them pain is very subjective so collecting this type of data will need to qualitative data helping the patient as it promotes the gather gathering of rich detail information and understanding
Weaknesses
May not be effective for all people if patient is not able to communicate well about their pain or does not have a trusting relationship with the practitioner or other cultural factors this limits its usefulness
Rely solely on people giving their opinion and interpretation of things which may must be accurate. Some people may downplay their symptoms in order not to make a big fuss and others may exaggerate them to get attention or even to obtain stronger pills.
