What are the differences between aerobic and anaerobic respiration?
A
- Anaerobic produces lactic acid and aerobic does not
- aerobic produces carbon dioxide
- aerobic produces water
- anaerobic doesn’t occur in mitochondria
- anaerobic releases less energy

Explain lock and key theory
A
- Enzyme binds to the substrate because they are complementary shapes
- So substrate is broken down in to products
- So products are released or enzyme is not changed

- Add to benedicts solution
- Boil/heat
- If glucose present then blue colour changes to brick red
