What is the biosphere?

A

The planet’s forests, deserts and oceans were clear to see. The living layer of the earth
is known as the biosphere and is found between the lithosphere (rocks below us) and atmosphere (air above us). We are part of the biosphere

What challenges do refugees and asylum seekers face?

A

Refugees face having to leave there home because something happened that has forced them to e.g war and have to move to another country. Asylum seekers face the asylum process which take anywhere between 12- 18 months. In this time asylum seekers
to live on. Also leaving there country because of persecution or serious human rights violations.

Difference between a refugee and asylum seeker.

A

An asylum seeker is a person looking for protection because they fear persecution, or they have experienced violence or human rights violations. A refugee is a person who asked for protection and was given refugee status. They may have been resettled in another country or be waiting for resettlement.
