Lack of skills - if a partner lacks interpersonal skills, making them not mutually satisfying, eg poor conversationalist, uninteresting, then partner perceives them as uninterested in relating

Stimulation - expectation a relationship will be constantly changing - if it doesn’t this seems insufficient and justification to end it

MD - not seeing each other is hard but main ting rel shows strength - if 3 mantainance strategies (positivity, openness, social networks, assurances, sharing tasks) are not in place it will breakdown
