Spending time with someone is rewarding / want to spend more time - fulfil the others needs
Attraction through association - more likely to like if we associate with pos events / if we meet when we’re happy, more likely to like them
Neutral stimulus become reinforces because of association - if pos > neg feelings = more likely to succeed

Personality - those with similar attributes eg. hardworking, serious, more likely to attract
LT married couples who were similar were happier than those who weren’t
