Tuarasi (volcanic soils) - min Minimum aging: 3 years (4 for Riserva) of which at least one year in wooden casks (18 months for Riserva). sharp tannins, structure, smokiness from ash soil.

Taburno (calcareous soils). Both require min of three years prior t release. The flavor profile is similar to Taurasi - full-bodied, intense and powerful - less deep, less structured and without the
smokiness from the volcanic soils.
