-CPR
-Call for help/cart and card
-Defibs on and start
Communicate with doc
-Epinephrine, 1mg IV q 3-5 minutes

-Update team regularly
-Monitor ECG continuously and check patient’s response
-Get a scribe, Document timing, # of shocks,
-Reflection of improvement

V. tach

A

HR > 100 bpm, altered consciousness,
Cart and defibs on in case
-stable? –> meds (communicate)
-unstable? –> cardioversion
-meds –> amiodarone (150mg IV over 10 minutes)
Cont. monitor, scribe, etc.
-watch for haemodynamic status change

Patient unresponsive, normal ECG, no palbable pulse

A

PEA
-CPR
-Call for help/cart and card
-Defibs on and start
Communicate with doc (say PEA!)
-Epinephrine, 1mg IV q 3-5 minutes
Consider any underlying causes. (Tamponade?)
-All the rest

A

Communicate myocardial infarction
-MONA (160 - 325mg)
-Call cardiology for a percunateous coronary intervention
-suggest thrombolytics or anticoagulants
-All the rest
