Semi-permeable wall that allows communication, protection and control for the movement of the substance.

A

Phospholipids, they are amphipathic (both hydrophobic and hydrophilic).

What allows to enter the plasma membrane?

A

Water, gas and small soluble particles (i.e. glycolipids, glycoprotein) can easily enter and leave the cell. Whilst large molecules like protein cannot enter or leave the cell. Charged ions can only enter via channels.
