This is when a painless reddish sore appears place where the pathogen enters the body it appears within 10 to 90 days after contact with an infected person this last 1 to 5 weeks and will then go away even if untreated
Primary stage first sign of syphilis
If not treated the pathogen will be circulated in the blood within 1 to 6 months after contact the highly contagious syphilis appears without treatment the symptoms will disappear but the disease continues to develop
Secondary stage
Usually begins around two or more years after the initial infection all the signs disappear in this stage it begins to attack the heart in the blood vessels in the central nervous system the damages slow and steady
Latent stage 3rd stage of syphilis
If untreated this stage to extend the 30 years and the heart skin brain and spinal cord are affected this can be treated but not cured
