The Native tribes lived all throughout Texas. They typically ate buffalo, corn, beans, fish, and squash.

Coahuiltecan

Answer 3

The Coahuiltecan tribe lived in South Texas. They ate undigested seeds collected from deer dung, ants, worms, pecans, and lizards. Most of their food was raw but sometimes they would cook it.

Caddo

The Caddo tribe lived in East Texas. They ate farmed foods including corn, pumpkins, beans, etc. They also hunted for buffalo and deer. They fished for food as well. They ate traditional foods including soup, stew, and cornbread.
