Centralists want all the power centralized in the National government. Don’t want to give up any power and state power is weak. Established October 23, 1835.

A
Federalists want the National government and the local/state government to have shared/equal power. They were in power 1824-36.

Colonization Law of 1825
A
It says you no longer have to go to Mexico City to get approved land contracts, local state governments can approve land contracts. Stephen F. Austin gets more land and without a doubt the most successful empresario. Gives everyone a personal tour of their land.
