- It is an oversimplified and exaggerated beliefs about a group based on their race, gender, religion,etc.

- This limits the opportunities and representation of marginalized groups.
- Some groups are viewed positively, this can affect hiring and decision making.
- Media can challenge these stereotypes by promoting diverse and accurate representation.
