A

A piece of a sentence
Often begin with the relative pronoun “which” or the subordinating conjunctions “because and whereas”

A
  1. The subject is missing
  2. The verb is missing
  3. Both the subject and verb are missing
  4. The words are a DC therefore a subject, verb, and incomplete thought

A
  1. Add the missing part/parts to develop the fragment into a complete sentence

  1. Add a helping vebr to the participle
  2. Change the participle to a different form of the verb
  3. Use the participle as an adjective, being sure to provide a subject and verb for the sentence
  4. Use a gerund phrase as a subject
