she’s showing more emotions and she is trying to improve her perspective on the world, and by learning the names of the people her age in her group.

they’ve never learned how to have fun and the adults and teachers want the children to have a childhood because they never had one.

anyone who finds the recordings can learn about the experiences these kids had and remember their stories. They are also hoping that history doesn’t repeat itself.

she thinks that Rivka feels like she doesn’t deserve to eat because her family died, she’s living with a lot of guilt.

the British navy is patrolling 3 miles off of Israel. If they get caught, they will be sent to camps.

they didn’t want to watch their friends get hurt but also they have so much to fight for, their freedom.
Why does the commander agree to let them cross the border?
he said that their papers were okay and they let them into Italy. They also let them through because he was surprised that they would fight back and the French soldiers were outnumbered so they had to stop the conflict.
