What area in America was against his plan and why did they feel this way?
The south because they almost had their debt pAyed off so they didn’t want to pay for everyone else’s debt
Why did the South agree to accept Hamilton’s plan to lessen the national debt?
Because they agreed to put the national government in the south
Why did Hamilton feel that it was ok for him to create a national bank?
To make it were you could have a bank were it would make most of the money
What is a tariff?
When the government lowers price on home goods and raises the price of imported goods
What was the Whiskey Rebellion?
When the government placed taxes on whiskey
Then the people got upset because they did not make money so they could not make taxes
Why did Washington not want to run for a third term to the Presidency?
Because he didn’t want to be a president anymore he wanted to retire
What limits the power of the gov’t and protects the rights of the individual?

What amendments make up the Bill of Rights?
1st amendment-freedom or speech,religion,assembly,and press and petion the government
2nd amendment-right to bear arms
4th amendment-we’re you have to have a search warrant to take someone to jail
5th amendment-
We’re you have to have evidence to put someone in jail
6th amendment-speedy public trial by an impartial jury
8th amendment- protects against excessive bail
9th amendment- prevents the government from saying the bill of rights are the only rights

Speech,assembly,press,religion,and petion the government
What does the 2nd Amendment give you the right to own?
The right to bear arms
What does the 4th Amendment protect you from? (Placed as a result of the Sugar Act)
