culpable homicide

a killing where the accused can be held criminally responsible

a common bawdy, betting, or gaming house

first-degree murder

a killing that is planned and deliberate, is the result of contract, causes death to a peace officer, or is committed during another serious crime

any culpable homicide not classified as infanticide or murder (not in right state of mind - did not have mens rea)

willfully destroying or damaging property or data, interfering with the lawful use of property or data

the indictable offence of stealing goods worth over 5000

trafficking

criminal offence that involves selling, giving transporting, ect, a controlled substance or and authorization for a controlled substance

public mischief

providing false information that causes the police to start or continue an investigation without cause

money laundering

transferring cash or property to conceal its illegal origin

21

murder

the intentional killing of another human being

non-culpabe homicide

a killing where the accused cannot be held legally responsible

possession

the state of having knowledge of and control over something
someone in possession must: know what the item is and have control over it, may be found in possession even if they gave it to another person, will be found in possession even if they have knowledge about it and consent to it

prostitution

the act of engaging in sexual services for money

provocation

words or actions that could cause a reasonable person to behave irrationally or lose self-control

robbery

the theft of personal property involving violence or the threat of violence

second-degree murder

any murder not classified as first-degree

summary conviction offences

a crime that is considered less serious and carries a less serious penalty
