Charles says there will be space for Presbyterians in CofE but they don’t think that is enough, then high church Anglicans have control and are determined to crush the Presbyterians, SO FAILED

- Overall disaster for Charles
- This disaster is reflected in parliament through clarendon code, able to enforce because of the power over finance which parliament holds
