Q

Explain the difference between a physical and chemical change

A

A physical change is a change in matter in which the appearance may change, but no chemical bonds are broken or made, and known new substance is formed. A chemical change is a change in matter in which chemical bonds are broken or made and at least one new substance is formed. The difference is that a chemical change forms a new substance and a physical change does not.
