A

Miscarriage, anaemia, small for gestational age and pre-eclampsia

What is the management for hypothyroidism during pregnancy?

A

Levothyroxine which can cross placenta and provide thyroid hormone to developing fetus. Needs to be increased during pregnancy by at least 25-50mcg. Treatment is titrated based on TSH level.
