Explain Troncik et al (1992)
Observed a tribe, children were a shared responsibility of the tribe. Mothers took in turn to look after the children, even sharing breastmilk, however children still maintained a strong bond with their biological mother, suggesting regardless of shared role in care giving, infants still develop a single Monotropic relationship.
What was the aim of Van Izjendoorn & Kroonenberg (1988)
To investiagte the reported rates of different infant attachment types in a range of cultures
What was the procedure of Van Izjendoorn& Kroonenberg (1988)
Meta-analysis, used information reported in other srudies and combined this data to produce a comparison acroos cultures. Classified infants into one of the attachment types A,B or C
What were the findings of Van Izjendoorn & Kroonenberg (1988)
