A

Origin: Posterior aspect of tibia, inferior to soleal line, posterior aspect of fibular & adjacent interosseous membrane
Insertion: Tuberosity of navicular, plantar aspects of medial, intermediate, lateral cuneiforms, plantar aspects of bases of metatarsals 2-4
Action: Foot inversion & ankle plantarflexion
Innervation: Tibial n.
