3
Q

Difference between RNA and DNA

A

Ribose sugar
Uracil binds with adenine instead of thymine
Singly poly nucleotide not double
Much shorter than DNA strand

Q

After each stage what did the tubes look like

A

First tube - band lowest (just heavy dna 15,15) second tube - band slightly higher as lighter (15n 14n , 14n 15n) - hybrid
Third tube - two bands one band like the band from the second tube (15n 14n) and one band very much to the top (14n 14n) lighter less denser

Q

What would tubes look like for fully conservative and dispersive

A

Fully- first band low and then two bands one low and one high ( same for third)
Dispersive - band get higher as dna would of got lighter as it got more dispersive
