As an actor she would stand towards the edge of the stage avoiding any central attention to emphasise her minimal authority in the group

As an actor he might use slow decisive movements to show that he is more controlled and less nervous
He could also remain still throughout the play to contrast the other people twitching and fidgeting (Leah)
This would show he rationally thinks about his decisions and takes into account possible consequences
This would show a huge contrast compared to the rest of the characters as I do not think properly which result in negative consequences
How would Phil use body language throughout the play?
As an actor he may have an upright posture to make feel seem taller and more self assured than the others to emphasise he has more authority over a majority of people
How can an actor’s stage position affect their characterisation?
This can represent the level of authority and importance to the audience and the play as a whole
How would Phil use stage positioning to represent his character?
An actor playing Phil would stick to a centre stage position in order to stress his importance to the play and the audience
This would foreshadow Phil Gaining a position as a leader in the play
How would Phil use his acting skills to show he is largely unresponsive to Leah?
He would remain still to suggest a lack of interest in what she is saying
Put on a neutral facial expression and stare into the distance to show he isn’t acknowledging any of her communication with him
He must also show some form of emotions so subtle clues about his thoughts would intrigues the audience into what he is thinking for example he might raise an eyebrow to emphasise he is surprised
