Precautions and Side Effects

A
  • May induce Tacharrhythmias (stop drug)
  • High doses cause vasoconstriction
  • Do not administer with sodium bicarbonate or other alkaline drugs as they deactivate dopamine
  • Always try fluids before Dopamine
  • Works best with Rx Pump
