People lived in tribes of 20-30 people
Men hunted and women gathered fruit and berries

In the Paleolithic Age, men and women were socially what? Why?

A

Close to equal
Hunting success rates were extremely low, and to ensure the tribe didn’t starve, womens gathering effort were essential. However, men were further needed for protection, and when a hunt was succesful, the protein was very valuabe. This lead to an equal balance of importance.
