How do we detect others emotions?

A

We detect others emotions using facial expressions, body language and tone of voice. This is controlled by the Amygdala.

What does Bandura show about aggression?

A

Bandura shows that aggression is often imitative, white children influenced more by live rather than fake aggression.

Eg in person rather than aggression on TV or video games.

How are phobias acquired?

A

Phobias are often acquired from parents, family, peers or social media. They may be the product of a single trauma and this may have a slight time delay. It can be negatively reinforced by avoidance. Get worse and worse by not standing up to it
