Q

How are headlands and bays formed

A

The coastline starts straight, the sea then starts to erode the rock. There are two types of rock hard rock and soft rock, the soft rock gets eroded more quickly and the hard rock hasn’t eroded as much. The soft rock then forms bays and the hard rock then forms headlands

This is a discordant coastline
