Found common themes in male murder. Most murders are committed by males because they are more likely to kill sexual rivals due to: 1) sexual jealousy--kill to eliminate suspicions/competition. 2) lack of resources

Also found: common trigger for murder is attention from another male
Self report survey found a positive correlation between male jealousy and use of mate retention strategies and violence on female partners.
